Intel 9th Gen (Coffee Lake Refresh) mini PCs

9th gen is a refresh of 8th gen, so the media engine, Windows 11 support and DDR4 memory are unchanged. The practical difference is at the top: the Core i7-9700T and i9-9900T bring eight cores to the same 35 W T-series envelope. Several business tiny PCs, such as Lenovo's M720q and M920q, were sold with either 8th- or 9th-gen chips in the same chassis, so the exact CPU in a listing matters more than the model name. A 9th-gen Core i5 keeps the same six-core layout as 8th gen. Choose 9th gen when you specifically want an 8-core i7 or i9 for VMs or containers.
