Lenovo ThinkCentre M715q Tiny (2nd Gen)

The 2nd-gen M715q uses the same name and chassis as the A-series original but adds Ryzen PRO 2000-series APUs: the quad-core Ryzen 3 PRO 2200GE and the four-core, eight-thread Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE with Vega graphics. Lenovo also kept Athlon 200GE and A-series options. Layout matches the first gen: two SO-DIMM slots (32 GB), one M.2 2242/2280 NVMe slot, a 2.5-inch bay, two DisplayPorts with one optional extra port, and Realtek gigabit Ethernet with DASH. ServeTheHome measured 14 to 17 W idle with a 2200GE, higher than comparable Intel Tinys, and found the Ryzen version a large step up over the A-series. The 2200GE and 2400GE are not on Microsoft's Windows 11 supported list.

Read the CPU: the four-core, eight-thread Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE is worth a small premium over the four-thread Ryzen 3 PRO 2200GE, and listings titled just 'M715q' are often the much slower A-series first generation. Neither Ryzen chip is on Microsoft's Windows 11 list, so plan on Windows 10 or Linux, and confirm Lenovo's 65 W adapter is included.
