HP ProDesk 600 G6 Desktop Mini

The ProDesk 600 G6 Desktop Mini is the middle model of HP's 10th-gen (Comet Lake) 1-liter line, between the ProDesk 400 G6 and EliteDesk 800 G6. Used units usually have six-core Core i5-10500T chips. Like the 800 G6 it lists two M.2 NVMe slots plus a 2.5-inch bay, and the Flex IO V2 port can take HP's 2.5 GbE module: an STH reader confirmed it works here, unlike in the 400 G6. That makes it a sensible homelab pick if you want dual NVMe and a 2.5 GbE path without paying for the EliteDesk badge. HP's spec sheet wasn't retrievable when we checked, so confirm the CPU, RAM and adapter on the listing before you buy.

Check before you buy

General off-lease checks (BIOS passwords, Computrace, missing drive caddies) are in the used mini PC buying checklist.

Buying guide

Which one to buy

Oct 4, 2026

175 ProDesk 600 G6 Minis are listed, and most complete units run $180–260 delivered, with 8 GB, a 256 GB SSD, Windows and a charger from about $185. Check the CPU: the T-series chips (i5-10500T, i5-10600T, i7-10700T) are the quiet 35 W ones, while the 65 W i5-10500 needs HP's higher-wattage adapter, so ask which adapter is included. Watch for 'No SSD' and 'No AC' in titles, confirm there's no BIOS password, and skip one seller's ask at over five times the median.
