HP EliteDesk 805 G6 Desktop Mini
The EliteDesk 805 G6 Desktop Mini is HP's AMD version of the G6 Mini, built around Ryzen PRO 4000 (Renoir) APUs. Most used units have 35 W GE parts up to the eight-core Ryzen 7 PRO 4750GE, and HP also sold 65 W G versions. It takes 64 GB of DDR4-3200 over two SO-DIMMs, has two M.2 NVMe slots plus an optional 2.5-inch bay, and offers two Flex ports: the first can be a factory 2.5 GbE NIC and the second a GTX 1660 Ti on 35 W units. Remote management is AMD DASH through a Realtek NIC rather than Intel AMT. STH measured 11-12 W idle and found HP doesn't lock these Ryzen PRO chips to its boards with PSB. It's one of the most expandable AMD 1-liter PCs.

Check before you buy
- Make sure the listing names the CPU: GE parts are 35 W, G parts are 65 W, and only 35 W units could get the GTX 1660 Ti.
- If you want 2.5 GbE, buy a unit with the factory Flex IO V2 2.5 GbE module; STH found the spare module hard to get working (one success in three tries).
- Check for the 2.5-inch SATA bracket if you plan to use a SATA drive, because M.2-only units ship without it.
- Confirm no BIOS setup or power-on password is set, and ask whether the unit was released from the previous owner's Absolute subscription (HP lists the Absolute Persistence Module in the BIOS).
General off-lease checks (BIOS passwords, Computrace, missing drive caddies) are in the used mini PC buying checklist.
