Minisforum UM560 (Ryzen 5 5625U)
The UM560 is a Minisforum Venus-series mini PC with the Ryzen 5 5625U, a 6-core, 12-thread Zen 3 'Barcelo' laptop chip with Radeon Vega graphics. It takes two DDR4 SO-DIMMs up to 64 GB, one PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD and a 2.5-inch SATA drive, so cheap bulk storage is easy to add. It has one 2.5 GbE port, a socketed M.2 Wi-Fi 6E card, four USB-A ports and two USB-C ports. The rear USB-C port handles both power input (USB PD) and display output. It suits a home server, Plex direct-play box or office desktop. Vega graphics and PCIe 3.0 storage date it next to Ryzen 6000/7000 minis. Note that the UM560 XT is a different model with a Ryzen 5 5600H.

Check before you buy
- Make sure the right USB-C PD power adapter comes with it; Minisforum's spec calls for a high-wattage PD supply (95 W+ for the UM560), and a phone or laptop charger may not be enough.
- Confirm it is the UM560 (5625U) and not the UM560 XT (5600H), which is a different model.
- If you plan to use the 2.5-inch bay, check the SATA cable/bracket is present.
