The Mini S12 and Mini S12 Pro are Beelink's budget Alder Lake-N boxes: the S12 uses the 4-core N95 and the S12 Pro the 4-core N100. Both have a single memory channel. Standard versions take one DDR4 SO-DIMM, while 'LP' versions have 12 GB of LPDDR5 soldered to the board that can't be upgraded. There is one M.2 2280 SSD slot, which Beelink lists as SATA, plus two HDMI outputs and a single Ethernet port (gigabit on earlier units, 2.5 GbE on later listings). It runs from a 12 V / 36 W brick. It's a good fit for Home Assistant, Pi-hole, a thin client or a basic HTPC. It's a poor choice if you need fast NVMe storage, more than 16 GB of RAM, or two NICs (look at the EQ12 for that).
